Despite my hard-shell, little romantic things seem to just shatter my world. It’s why when I see Grammy and Grandpa holding hands I simply melt. Or why the little kid running around the park chasing a girl and shouting “But I love you!” just fills me with glee.
When I came across this post by Zen Garage, I simply couldn’t stop sharing and watching. The story’s simple. After seeing the end of their love story, artists Marina Abramovic and Ulay went their separate ways. They crossed the Great Wall of China from opposite ends, hugged and said goodbye. They haven’t seen each other since. That was 1988.
On the opening night of Marina’s “The Artist is Present” show at MoMA back in 2010, this happened. Obviously, no words needed.
